Join Roche's Global Diagnostics Procurement (DOP) team located in Sant Cugat, Spain, as a Business Process Expert (BPE) to optimize the global Demand‑to‑Pay landscape and drive tactical execution of digital procurement innovations.

Responsibilities

- Lead tactical and strategic ownership of complex business processes within the Demand‑to‑Pay landscape.
- Analyze, design, and implement innovative solutions, including integration with SAP S/4HANA and myBuy.
- Manage and further develop business processes, design efficient interfaces to other systems.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and digitalisation in collaboration with Delivery, Category, Digital & Process Management, and RSS Demand to Pay.
- Lead projects independently, design workshops and training courses.
- Develop and analyse innovative approaches for complex problems, verify them at a integral level and guide local implementation.
- Implement area‑specific solutions to reduce critical errors, increase stability and productivity.
- Drive continuous improvement through simple, fast, and agile business processes while acting as a SME to ensure robust knowledge transfer.




- Resolve matrix conflicts related to competing project priorities or process expectations, and deliver high‑frequency KPI updates (monthly/quarterly) to the CoE LT and DPLT.

Qualifications
- University degree in business or life sciences;
Master’s degree (MBA orequivalent) preferred.
- Deep expert knowledge of procurement processes and systems (e.G., SAP S/4HANA, GEP Smart / GEP Nexxe).
- Strong understanding of the broader procurement system and provider landscape.
- Proven experience in the design, management, and continuous improvement of business processes, with a preference for direct Demand‑to‑Pay experience.
- Advanced knowledge in AI applications and a strong affinity for exploring AI‑driven solutions in digital transformation.
- Proven stakeholder and change management skills, ensuring organisational understanding of new ways of working.
- Strategic, entrepreneurial mindset with excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Business‑level fluency in English required;
German language skills preferred.
