Location

Madrid for an onboarding period of 2 years with a possible relocation to Amsterdam. The customer base will be in the Benelux region and will involve travel to meet clients in person.

The Team

As an Associate Applied AI Engineer, you will be part of the Value Engineering team and a trusted advisor for customers working at the intersection of technology and business. You partner with sales and customers to create compelling and innovative technical solutions to critical business problems leveraging our Celonis Process Intelligence Platform.

The Role

The 12‑month Orbit Graduate Program will fast‑start your career in the SaaS industry. You’ll receive onboarding and enablement, hands‑on experience in customer engagements, and training in the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform, domain knowledge, presentation, demo skills, discovery, objection handling and value selling.

The Work You’ll Do

-

- Support the Benelux Value Engineering team on customer engagements as part of the Global VE CoE

- Collaborate with customers to uncover core business challenges and determine how Celonis Process Intelligence can help them achieve business objectives and AI strategy

- Execute proof projects, frame quantitative business value and deliver presentations to senior executives to drive investment decisions

- Prototype and develop AI solutions tailored to customer needs, including machine learning, LLM‑based solutions and orchestration technology





- Drive change management and value realisation, ensuring a positive return on investment

- Build strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor through technical, product expertise and business acumen

- Collaborate and share customer insights with internal Product and Engineering teams to influence and co‑develop AI product innovations

- Create reusable collateral, best practices and tools within the Global VE CoE and feed them back to the regional Value Engineering team

- Travel to the Benelux region to meet clients in person

You Are Successful As a Value Engineer If You

- Have a passion for technology, data and AI and its impact on the world

- Hunger to learn new technologies and have at least basic knowledge or hands‑on experience in SQL and/or Python

- Have exposure to process mining principles and completion of Celonis “Rising Star” modules, which is a welcome indicator of your eagerness to develop in this field

- Can think analytically and creatively, especially in applying technology solutions to core business problems

- Are focused on creating and adding value for customers

- Have an entrepreneurial mindset and can multi‑task, prioritise and execute





- Can build relationships with senior management and influence decision‑makers

- Are confident presenting to C‑level executives and larger audiences

- Will travel to the Benelux region to meet clients in person

- Are an effective communicator and fluent in Dutch and English
