Offer Description BREATH programme is committed to providing a pool of researchers with the skills and knowledge needed to bridge the gap between frontier research in biomaterials and its translation to the clinic and biomedical market. This commitment is ensured by exposing BREATH Postdoctoral Fellows to top world-class research groups and state of the art infrastructure at the interface of biology and material sciences.
Additionally, BREATH offers a competitive training programme in connection with other 12 international research institutions, 4 clinical research institutions and 13 industrial partners.
In the first call, opening in November 2025,



we offer 6 positions for researchers who will have the consideration of Marie Sk?odowska-Curie fellows and will be hired on a full-time employment contract for the duration of 24 months, in compliance with the Spanish labour legislation. A second call will be launched in June 2026 with 6 other hosting positions.
Through their contracts, BREATH Postdoctoral Fellows are going to perceive a minimum gross salary of approximately €3,824 per month.
The policy of CIC biomaGUNE is to allow researchers freedom to pursue research within the broad scope of the Research Strategy, with a special focus on translational research: pushing from fundamental findings in biomaterial science to innovation in advanced healthcare solutions. BREATH fellows will be the main drivers of their individual projects and are going to be supervised by one of the Group Leaders at CIC biomaGUNE.
