Accounting Specialist

Veritas Intercontinental is currently searching for an Accounting Specialist.



Accounting Specialist will be based out of our Madrid Office. This role is a full-time position, reporting into our local CFO in Madrid.

Responsibilities:

⦁ Invoicing the clients
⦁ Performs monthly closing Journals entries
⦁ Review payment process
⦁ Costs Analysis
⦁ Tax preparation
⦁ Cash flow analysis
⦁ Month end/Reporting Package process
⦁ Follow up monthly forecast
⦁ Preparing Financial Statements
⦁ Audit support

What we are looking for:

⦁ Fluent English and Spanish
⦁ Degree in economics
⦁ 2 to 4 year’s relevant experience in a busy, accounting Department
⦁ Experience working with SAP (desirable but not essential)
⦁ Intermediate to Advanced competence in MS Excel (use of formulas, formatting etc)
⦁ Strong attention to detail
⦁ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
⦁ Previous experience in a Big Four (desirable but not essential)
