We are looking for a Country Manager – Spain to achieve this.
About the role
The Spanish market is a very important market for E-Flux and Road representing significant opportunities for growth. We are looking for a Country Manager in Spain to help us further develop our business by building up a world-class sales team to provide our customers a world-class experience. You would be responsible for driving the regional revenue and reporting to the Vice President of Sales. You support the VP of Sales in setting the strategic commercial direction and regional go-to-market based on research and data analysis, making game-changing decisions within the region, and implementing them accordingly within your team.
In the day-to-day business, your focus will be on market-facing activities, with an emphasis on the execution of the regional go-to-market plan and on customer and prospect engagement across all customer segments, including management of executive relationships with enterprise customers, manufacturers, and wholesale. In addition, the Country Manager in Spain will be the leader of all sales teams addressing the region, providing leadership and direction to all. Your direct reports include Business Development Managers, Account Executives, and Customer Success Managers.
As Country Manager you will typically work closely with Sales Operations, Support, Marketing, Business Intelligence, Product, and Engineering.
Jointly you work on driving continuous improvement of customer satisfaction and our services to the customers, ensuring sustainable growth of our business.
Your responsibilities include:
Business objectives:
Grow the Spanish business in revenue and market share through excellent go-to-market execution
Develop the Spanish sales team into a performing sales engine by focussing on people development and world-class sales performance
Achieve customer loyalty, measured by customer satisfaction and NPS scores
Drive high accuracy and data quality on CRM (Salesforce.com) to support real-time reporting and data analysis, as well as customer feedback to drive product improvement
Key tasks
Drive commercial growth through successful leadership, organizational building, customer and prospect engagement, and effective execution of the go-to-market plan for Spain
Provide outstanding leadership to the Spanish sales team and grow and build the team as you develop the Spanish market to its full potential
Together with Marketing develop an effective yearly commercial campaign calendar for the region and ensure the growth of brand awareness, lead generation and optimized conversion
Ensure an accurate and up-to-date pipeline on our CRM, recordings of qualitative interactions for customers and prospects
Measure your success by analysing sales reports and providing updates to VP of Sales on progress, risks and opportunities
Develop and maintain relationships with regional manufacturers, wholesale and other related associations that are key success in the regional market
Manage (government) tenders and related opportunities in the region supported by Tender Management,
Set OKRs to be successful in achieving your goals and ensure OKRs are set up for your team members as well to support end-to-end alignment and focus on what matters
Develop people within your team to achieve a productive,
highly functional sales team
Act as the single point of contact for all Spanish sales and customer-facing operational concerns, ensuring proper and timely escalation and resolution
Support the build of a World Class Sales Engine by ensuring go-to-market execution data is recorded on time and with high quality by Spanish team members on the CRM solution
Drive a business cadence for forecast calls, functional review meetings, deal reviews, account reviews, and weekly team meetings.
Represent E-Flux and Road at external conferences, media and PR events.
Provide excellent communication acting as primary liaisons for all your stakeholders
What do we value in our candidate?
5+ years of relevant, regional or country leadership experience
Experienced with B2B sales of SaaS/Cloud and software platforms
Strong relationships within the EV community and industry in the region
Fluent in Spanish and English
International working experience and culturally sensitive
Willingness to travel frequently
