The Financial Analyst will support and participate in analyzing current and past financial data and performance of the Werfen Diagnostics group.

This responsibility includes analysis of budgeting vs. vigente data and participating in other special projects:

• Preparing reports and projections based on this analysis

• Identifying trends in financial performance and providing recommendations for improvement

• Analysis of metrics and KPI

• Evaluating current capital expenditures and depreciation

• Collaborating with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts

• Supporting the supply chain team

• Supporting the finance Manager in Iberia and Corporate Finance managers

• Providing financial models and forecasting

After 1-2 years in the position of Financial Analyst, a position of Financial Manager in one of our subsidiaries around the world will be offered to the candidate.

Key Accountabilities

- Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements
- Prepares and analyzes periodic reporting on actual vs. budget data
- Organizes, interprets and presents relevant financial information/analysis for timely and effective decision making; identifying significant issues and success/problem indicators
- Continually enhances the quality, reliability and responsiveness of the information provided
- Analysis including:
- Analysis of expenses, to include benchmarking to budgets




- Evaluation of cash flow in relation to forecast

- Evaluates the financial impact of strategic and operational actions being considered
- Spearheads other financial ad-hoc projects as required

Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:

- Bachelor's and Masters degrees in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field
- 2+ years professional M&A; experience in a big four or 4+ years experience in Audit in a big four
- Strong working knowledge of complex concepts, principles and practices of accounting and financial reporting
- 3+ years finance experience with multinational companies, to include consolidation work
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Experience in digital finance applications will be appreciated.
- Windows and mainframe or platform-based software
- Familiarity with SAP accounting system
- English fluent spoken and written is required
- Other language skills will also be appreciated
