Lead the front-end planning of major hyperscale data centre campuses across EMEA - from early site assessment through to construction readiness.
This is a strategic, client-facing role for someone who can de-risk complex developments, challenge design decisions early and create the planning structure needed to move multi-billion-pound infrastructure programmes forward.
About the role
You will coordinate Front End Planning across a portfolio of large-scale data centre developments, ensuring sites are technically viable, commercially sound and ready to progress into implementation.
The role covers master planning, technical due diligence, site readiness, utilities, design coordination and programme-wide standardisation.
Key responsibilities
Lead front-end planning from initial site assessment through to construction handover
Coordinate geo-assessments, campus planning updates and planning submissions
Review test fits to maximise site capacity and land utilisation
Manage buildability reviews and technical due diligence
Drive master planning across internal teams, consultants and external vendors
Oversee early site preparation, pre-loading and ground readiness activities
Coordinate major utility requirements and site capacity trigger plans
Identify value engineering opportunities during the design stage




Standardise templates, reporting and document control across the EMEA programme
Lead progress meetings and resolve critical programme issues
Requirements
Strong experience in pre-construction, master planning or front-end planning
Background delivering large-scale industrial, data centre or mission-critical infrastructure
Proven ability to manage multiple developments during due diligence and pre-construction
Good commercial understanding, including value engineering and design-stage cost optimisation
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams, consultants and contractors
Confident operating within a complex, international matrix organisation
Fluent Spanish and English
Already based in Spain with the right to work and permanent residency
Utility infrastructure and site capacity planning
Programme management consultancy or client-side delivery
Experience supporting projects across multiple EMEA locations
