Electrical Engineer
Crewit Resourcing is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a leading engineering client delivering projects across power generation, data centres, and industrial sectors.
This role is idóneo for engineers with experience in conceptual, basic, and detailed electrical design, particularly involving power systems, industrial infrastructure, and high-performance facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver electrical engineering designs across all project phases (concept, basic, and detailed)
Design and specify:
Power distribution systems (LV/MV)
Electrical systems for industrial plants and data centres
Control and instrumentation systems
Prepare and review technical documentation, including:
Electrical schematics and layouts
Technical specifications and reports
Load calculations and system studies
Perform electrical load studies, fault analysis, and system sizing
Support testing, commissioning, and performance validation of electrical systems
Conduct economic and technical evaluations of electrical solutions, including cost and efficiency analysis
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders
Support project planning, scheduling, and procurement activities
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, electrical standards, and quality procedures




Contribute to development of engineering standards and best practices
Key Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering
Strong experience in:
Power systems design and analysis
Industrial or infrastructure electrical systems
Experience working on:
Power generation, data centres, or industrial facilities
Ability to produce technical documentation and engineering calculations
Experience in multidisciplinary project environments
Technical Skills
Design Tools: AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent
Analysis Software: ETAP, DIgSILENT, or similar (advantageous)
Project Tools: Primavera P6, Aconex, Power BI
Programming: Python (beneficial for automation/analysis)
Desirable Experience
Electrical systems for data centres or critical infrastructure
Experience in testing and commissioning of power systems
Knowledge of instrumentation and control systems
Exposure to renewable energy or high-efficiency systems
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Excellent communication and coordination ability
Detail-oriented with a focus on safety and quality
