Experteer Overview
In this role you design, develop and optimize power electronics hardware for energy conversion systems, contributing to Nextpower's solar-focused platform.
You work with cross-disciplinary teams to meet safety, thermal, EMC, reliability and cost targets across the product lifecycle.
You will perform analyses, document designs, and support certifications and industrialization.
This is a hands-on engineering position with a strong impact on system performance and reliability.
You will help shape scalable power solutions for large-scale renewable projects.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Design and develop power electronics hardware for energy conversion systems
• Define hardware architecture, schematics, and component selection based on requirements
• Design power stages, gate drivers, protection circuits, auxiliary supplies, and interfaces
• Perform electrical, thermal, magnetic, and reliability calculations and simulations
• Prepare and maintain design specifications, test reports, calculations, schematics, and BOMs
• Provide technical support during prototype builds, pilot production, and industrialization
• Investigate hardware failures via root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Support product certification per IEC, UL, CE and other standards
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams
• Execute laboratory verification and troubleshooting including EMC and reliability testing
Responsabilidades
• University degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field
• Experience in designing power electronics hardware and performing multi-physics analyses
• Ability to perform electrical, thermal, and magnetic calculations and simulations
• Experience with design documentation, BOMs, and testing
• Knowledge of product certification processes (IEC, UL, CE) and compliance
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
