IREC is looking for an Interim R&D; Business Developer to fill the job for the duration of the selection process for its permanent appointment, in accordance with the regulations of the public sector. The professional will be responsible for promotion of R&D;&i; projects and business development within the Business Development team of the Corporate Development and Technology Transfer department. In particular, tasks will include promotion of national and international R&D;&i; competitive-funded projects (Horizon Europe, AEI, AGAUR, etc.), support to proposal preparation, consortia formation, partner search, participation in brokerage events and budget definition. Tasks may also include support to proposal preparation of collaborations with industry.

The professional ideally would be skilled and have experience in scouting, promotion, preparation and writing of public funding proposals, as well as deep knowledge of Horizon Europe, AEI, AGAUR and ACCIO programmes. Capacity to work in a team, adaptable, goals oriented, innovative, with initiative and problem-solving skills. High level of writing,



communication and negotiation skills are mandatory.

Requirements

- University Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or related
- Knowledge of energy technologies and sector
- Knowledge of European and national funding programs
- Experience in promotion and preparation of competitive proposals at European and national level
- High proficiency in English, Spanish and Catalan

Advantageous

- PhD in the Energy sector, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering or similar
- Knowledge and/or experience on renewable energies, smart grids, energy efficiency and energy sector.
- Experience at research or technology centers
- Experience in research-industry collaboration

Salaries will be paid in accordance with IREC’s salary policy, depending on the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience.
