Purpose of Contract

Research Support Technician Collaborator on activities related to the project/agreement stated.

Tasks To Be Performed

The national project report: "Generating Explanations in hybrid Intelligent Systems to Ensure Reliability (GEISER)" (code: PID***********NB-I00). The support technician will implement software prototypes and participate in most project work, especially within work package "WP1. ASP Foundations and Extensions" covering tasks T1.1 (Equilibrium Logic), T1.2 (Temporal ASP) and T1.3 (Agent-based Reasoning). The technician will also contribute to machine learning tasks T2.2 (Inductive Logic Programming), T4.1 (decision support in liver transplantation) and T4.2 (3D printing of medicines) involving experimentation and prototype development.

Justification for Contract Duration

The contract spans the entire project timeline: from 1 August 2026 to 31 August 2028.

Candidate Requirements and Selection Criteria





- Academic transcript with bachelor degree average (max 1 point)
- Optional merit: Master in Computer Science/Artificial Intelligence or equivalent (max 0.5 points)
- Experience in software development for explanation generation in reasoning and knowledge representation (max 1 point, must demonstrate applications at interview)
- English level B2 (0.5 points) or C1/Higher (1 point)
- Personal interview (max 1 point)

Minimum admission score: 2 points. Candidates scoring below this are excluded.
