Organizational Coach (Fintech) – Barcelona

Full‑time, on‑site position at Merlin Digital Partner, supporting a rapidly expanding fintech firm focused on adaptable working capital and invoice advance solutions.

Mission

As an Organizational Coach you will be a key driver of the company's organisational transformation journey, using a systemic mindset, strong influencing skills, and empathy to scale processes, culture, and team autonomy.

Responsibilities

- Report directly to the CEO.
- Actively contribute to the company's organisational design and structure.
- Define and execute the organisational improvement strategy aligned with the business, technology and departmental objectives.
- Provide methodological support for strategic and tactical planning.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across business functions (Sales, Risk, Finance, etc.) and product & technology.
- Embed Lean‑Agile principles across the organisation and coach teams on their practical application.
- Define and provide area‑specific metrics to Heads and teams, enabling effective iteration planning and roadmap prioritisation based on team capacity.
- Partner with the Talent & Culture team and the Leadership Team to evolve the company culture, increase team autonomy and foster cross‑functional collaboration.
- Facilitate team workshops and sessions when needed, including ideation, solution design, planning, retrospectives, conflict resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote transparent communication and ensure information is accessible across the organisation.
- Define,



track and measure the impact of organisational improvement initiatives through relevant KPIs.

Qualifications

- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role or as an organisational consultant.
- Proven experience partnering with C‑level executives and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and drive alignment.
- Strong understanding of product development in complex organisational environments.
- Hands‑on experience with lean‑agile frameworks at scale (Nexus, LeSS, Spotify Model, or similar).
- Strong systems‑thinking capabilities, with experience analysing organisational dynamics and designing effective solutions.
- Experience leading change‑management initiatives using frameworks such as ADKAR or similar.
- Alignment with the company's values and a good sense of humour.
- Nice to have: Certification in coaching (ICF, ORSC) or scaled agile (LeSS, Nexus, Certified Agile Coach).
- Previous experience in high‑growth start‑ups or scale‑ups.
- Previous experience in the fintech industry.
- Experience designing and delivering training sessions, workshops and coaching programmes for managers and teams.
