As a Purchasing Specialist, you will play a key role in optimizing the procurement of materials through strategic supplier negotiations, the evaluation of alternative components, and the efficient execution of purchasing processes. Your work will directly contribute to the smooth operation of the company, helping us achieve our ambitious goals in the aerospace industry.

Location: Málaga

Responsibilities

- Manage end to end purchasing processes, from Request for Quotation (RFQ) through purchase order placement and contractual follow up.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers, ensuring competitiveness in terms of cost, quality, lead time, and manufacturing capability.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, lead times, Incoterms, and framework agreements aligned with the company’s procurement strategy.
- Coordinate with Engineering to manage technical specifications, design changes (ECO/ECR), and supplier qualification by commodity.
- Collaborate with Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) and Quality teams on supplier qualification, claims, and improvement plans for critical suppliers.
- Analyze and monitor procurement and supplier KPIs, including On Time Delivery (OTD), cost savings, lead times, quality performance, and supply risks, driving corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage supply chain risks by ensuring business continuity through dual sourcing strategies, contingency plans, and close monitoring of strategic suppliers.
- Participate in CAPEX, industrialization, and new product development projects, aligning technical and commercial requirements.
- Maintain contractual and procurement documentation within ERP/SAP systems and corporate tools.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal requirements,



and quality standards applicable to the supply chain.

Education and Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Organization Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Additional training in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Negotiation will be considered an advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial procurement, strategic sourcing, or supplier management within technical environments such as aerospace, industrial manufacturing, defence, or New Space.
- Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.

Technical Competencies

Candidates should demonstrate strong knowledge and experience in the following areas:

- Management of RFQ and RFP processes.
- Supplier negotiation, cost analysis, contract management, Incoterms, basic interpretation of engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs), and industrial manufacturing processes.
- Experience working with ERP/SAP systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in procurement analytics and supplier KPI management.

- Results oriented profile with excellent coordination, analytical, and negotiation skills.
