La Crisálida Retreats are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and experienced Kitchen Assistant to join our kitchen team on a temporary basis to cover a team member on long-term medical leave (baja).

La Crisálida Retreats is a health and wellness retreat located in the tranquil town of Albir, on the Costa Blanca. We offer an all-inclusive retreat experience in our peaceful and welcoming centre to guests from all over the world, supporting them through transformational wellness programmes focused on plant-based nutrition, movement, rest, mindset, and holistic wellbeing.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing plant-based breakfasts and assisting the kitchen team during morning shifts. Cooks at La Crisálida Retreats operate in both guest-facing and back-of-house roles, playing a vital part in providing our guests with an exceptional culinary experience. The role ideally requires knowledge and experience of plant based food and juicing.

Shift Pattern:



Rotating shifts working weekends and early mornings. (between 25 and 30 hours per week).

Training: Full training on our specific menu, recipes, and juicing protocols will be provided.

Key Requirements

- Languages: High level of English and basic Spanish.
- Experience: Previous experience working in a professional kitchen.
- Nutrition & Food Safety: Good knowledge of plant-based cooking and food allergens is vital.
- Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
- Flexibility: Availability to work early morning shifts and weekends.
- Legal Eligibility: Located in the local area with a valid NIE/DNI and full right to work in Spain.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Contract

Pay: 995.82€ - 1,194.98€ per month
