Responsibilities
-
- Develop and implement construction strategies for new hotel projects, renovations, and expansions, ensuring all projects align with brand standards, operational requirements, and financial targets.
- Update and monitor project KPIs for schedule, budget, quality, and safety, and oversee project lifecycle from feasibility and design development through construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Review and approve construction schedules, budgets, and resource plans in liaison with the Central Services Department.
- Work closely with structural team, construction team, MEP, Civil, Architectural, Interior planning and procurement central services teams, as well as with Sustainability team, and collaborate with Operations teams to ensure minimal disruption during renovations or openings, and with the Health & Safety department to ensure that safety standards and principles are applied, monitored and controlled during all phases of the project.
- Lead, mentor, and develop construction managers, engineers, and site teams, and manage external consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Manage construction budgets, contracts, procurement,
and cost control measures in liaison with the Central Services Department, collaborate with Legal and Procurement Departments for contracts, manage variation orders, value engineering proposals, and manage any potential risks and opportunities in liaison with the Central Services Department for their impact on the project’s budget and timeline.
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field, and 12+ years of experience in project/construction management, with significant experience in hotel or hospitality projects.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, with proven experience in construction project leadership and strategic planning.
- Extensive experience in guiding teams and handling complex, multifaceted projects.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines, with a collaborative mindset to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong experience in executive-level reporting, and background in construction or hospitality developments preferred.
- Fluent English and Greek required.
