An opportunity for an AIT Shopfloor has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid).

Responsibilities

-

- Responsibility for the thermomechanical and electrical integrations of the satellites as well as functional testing.

- Assemble subassemblies and elements in flight parts.

- Update work orders according to tasks performed.

- Respect procedures and health & safety regulations, and maintain and renew the corresponding certifications according to the job position.

Design and Development

Shopfloor work will be carried out in satellite integration, developing both electrical and mechanical skills. Opportunity to develop skills in integration campaigns and testing, and for technical development in mechanical engineering. Desired incorporation: June 2026.

Skills & Requirements

-

- Education: FP in electronics.

- Experience: At least 5 years in manufacturing or integration activities.

- Soft skills: High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a networking mode.

- Languages: Advanced level in English.

- Technical knowledge: Electrical knowledge or alignment knowledge.

- Nice to have: Experience in the space sector.





- Availability to travel for medium stays (around 15 days).
