An industry-leading data center provider operating across the Iberian Peninsula is seeking a Civil Architecture Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale data center civils works in Madrid.

This is an opportunity to join a well-established organisation with an extensive pipeline of mission-critical projects, playing a key role in shaping the next generation of digital infrastructure. Working at the earliest stages of development through to project delivery, you will have significant influence over land acquisition support, infrastructure planning, urbanisation works, and the construction of hyperscale data center facilities.

The position offers long-term project exposure, the chance to work alongside leading consultants, contractors, and technical specialists, and the opportunity to contribute to some of the most strategically important data center developments in Southern Europe.

Responsibilities

- Support the organisation during land acquisition and development assessment activities

- Manage administrative and regulatory processes required to achieve development-ready land status

- Oversee the execution of preliminary works and enabling infrastructure packages

- Lead the delivery of urbanisation, civil works, and building construction activities





- Coordinate external stakeholders including contractors, consultants, designers, and technical advisors

- Support the preparation, negotiation, and administration of project contracts

- Manage project certifications, approvals, and associated documentation

- Monitor project schedules, budgets, risks, and delivery milestones

- Ensure compliance with technical, regulatory, quality, and health & safety requirements

- Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on project progress and performance

Required Skills

- Strong leadership experience delivering complex civil engineering or construction projects

- Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders

- Excellent knowledge xqbhyrx of planning, permitting, and development processes

- Strong commercial awareness and contract management capabilities

- Experience coordinating large-scale infrastructure, industrial, or mission-critical developments

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline

- 10+ years of experience in civil engineering

- Experience managing major development, infrastructure, or construction projects

- Previous involvement in urban development schemes and compensation board processes would be highly advantageous
