We are hiring a Senior Apple TV Developer to join our team in Spain!

About the Role :

As a Senior Apple TV Developer , you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining top-tier streaming applications for Apple TV. You’ll work with both native and third-party media players to ensure smooth video playback and optimize app performance, all while adhering to Apple’s best practices and delivering exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and development of Apple TV applications focused on streaming services .
- Work with native and/or third-party media players to ensure smooth video playback and optimize performance for Video-On-Demand (VOD) and Linear Channels .
- Ensure compliance with Apple's guidelines and best practices for tvOS applications .
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers , designers , and backend developers , to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
- Write clean , maintainable , and efficient code that follows best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to app performance, user experience, and compatibility.
- Provide technical leadership , guiding junior developers and supporting peer reviews .
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in tvOS , Apple technologies , and OTT industry standards .

Key Requirements :

- 5+ years of experience developing applications for Apple TV and/or iOS , with a focus on streaming services.




- Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C programming languages.
- In-depth knowledge of media streaming protocols (HLS, DASH, DRM) and experience working with native or proven third-party media players.
- Solid understanding of Apple’s tvOS framework and its UI components .
- Familiarity with Apple’s design principles , interface guidelines , and best practices for building OTT apps.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines , automated testing , and version control systems like Git .
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead technical decisions within the team.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset .
- Experience in leadership or mentorship roles is a plus.

Nice to Have :

- Experience integrating analytics and monitoring tools for performance tracking.
- Knowledge of cross-platform OTT frameworks (e.g., React Native , Roku , Android TV ).
- Understanding of backend systems related to video streaming , such as content delivery networks (CDNs) and Video-On-Demand (VOD) systems.
