In this Senior Director role, you will lead oncology-focused Corporate Affairs for Spain and Portugal, shaping media relations, corporate reputation, public affairs, and internal communications to support regional priorities and global strategy. You will act as a local spokesperson, manage crisis and policy issues, and amplify oncology innovation with key stakeholders. The role blends communications, policy engagement, and cross-functional leadership in a fast-growing company. You will drive digital and AI-enabled engagement while aligning with regional and global narratives, delivering tangible access and awareness outcomes.

• Serve as Spain and Portugal spokesperson and manage media enquiries
• Drive proactive media content around trial results, regulatory milestones, and major oncology congresses (ASCO, ESMO)
• Build and maintain relationships with top-tier media and monitor sentiment to flag emerging narratives
• Maintain consistent messaging across earned, owned, and shared channels, aligning with global priorities
• Own country-level corporate reputation strategy and ensure alignment with global narrative
• Monitor reputation indicators and provide early warnings of risks and opportunities
• Lead local crisis and issues management to protect reputation
• Elevate executive visibility and thought leadership in local business, healthcare, and policy circles
• Pursue corporate Public Affairs activities in partnership with Value, Market Access and Pricing teams
• Map and monitor Spain and Portugal policy environment, flagging risks and opportunities
• Collaborate with GMs, HR,



and corporate functions to build transparent culture and engagement
• Design internal engagement strategies translating strategy into clear priorities for staff
• Align internal messaging with external priorities and policy milestones
• Lead oncology communications strategy for disease awareness, launches, and lifecycle, including congress activity with local regulatory compliance
• Create disease-awareness content for patients and caregivers and translate data for HCPs
• Ensure communications comply with EFPIA and local regulations
• Develop AI-enabled tools for audience insight, drafting, monitoring, and measurement
• Create best-practice toolkits and training to build policy capacity and digital literacy
• Foster cross-country learning and align Spain/Portugal with regional and general narratives
Responsabilidades
• Degree in Law, Communications, Political Science, Public Health, Life Sciences, or related field
• Minimum 10 years in Communications and Public Affairs in oncology
• Excellent leadership, influence, and team xqbhyrx mindset
• Strong ability to develop and deliver impactful Communications and Public Affairs campaigns
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, with policy translation for lay audiences
• Skilled in managing complex stakeholder environments and partnerships
• Strong digital communications skills across web, social, and digital channels
• Hands-on fluency with generative AI tools for communications workflows with governance understanding
• Deep understanding of European healthcare policy and oncology landscape
• Proven track record engaging patient organizations, industry associations, and policymakers to deliver policy and access outcomes
• Experience launching new oncology medicines and shaping policy for faster patient access
• Familiarity with reimbursement, HTA processes, and access barriers in oncology
• Travel: approx. 50%
