As an Advisory Solutions Engineer, you act as a premier technical advisor for strategic enterprise accounts, shaping and proving Confluent solutions in real-time data streaming. You’ll lead technical discoveries, drive the MEDDPICC framework, and own PoC/RFI execution to demonstrate low-latency streaming value. You collaborate across teams to influence product roadmaps and mentor engineers, all within a cloud-native, architecture-driven context. This role blends deep Kafka/Flink expertise with business acumen to deliver measurable customer impact.

• Architect Confluent-focused solutions by combining Cloud/Platform, Schema Registry, Kafka Connect, and Flink SQL to meet complex needs
• Lead structured technical discovery sessions to uncover customer problems and rationale
• Participate in MEDDPICC-based deal qualification with Account Executives and identify technical criteria and champions
• Lead PoC/RFI/RFP technical execution and craft compelling Proofs of Technology




• Share learnings and patterns internally to influence roadmaps and drive best practices
• Handle complex technical objections and escalate systemic issues using deep Kafka/Flink knowledge
Responsabilidades
• Streaming ecosystem mastery with Apache Kafka internals and Confluent ecosystem
• Stateful stream processing with Apache Flink, including checkpointing and windowing
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, or Python for event-driven apps and UDFs
• Cloud and hybrid deployment knowledge across AWS, Azure, or GCP; Kubernetes/Operators xqbhyrx
• Security and governance knowledge (mTLS, SASL/SCRAM, OAuth) and data privacy practices
• Strong business/technical communication across multiple personas (developers to C-suite)
• Understanding of platform pricing, licensing, and deployment strategies
• 3-5 years in a technical, customer-facing role
• Fluency in Spanish and English
