Rover is looking for a Director of Global Provider GTM to join our Global Provider Organization. In this role, you will build and drive consistent go-to-market strategies and initiatives for all provider-related investments, own provider communications strategy, alignment, and execution, and expand and unify the implementation of provider policies and development pathways.

This includes owning the end-to-end general positioning, messaging and channel strategies for the provider product roadmap and initiatives. The role requires a blend of strategic vision and hands‑on execution. As a strategic player-coach, you will architect structured, repeatable go-to-market frameworks from scratch while driving cross-functional communication strategies across owned, earned and paid channels. You will align executive stakeholders on long-term provider policy and manage day-to-day pathways that help new providers build and scale their businesses on Rover. The position reports directly to the Senior Director of Provider Strategy based in Barcelona and works with Product, Data Science, Trust & Safety, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and International Business.

As a people leader, you will manage a team primarily in Barcelona and coordinate with cross‑functional teams across Europe and the U.S. Requirements for residence: minimum expectation to work out of Barcelona office two days per week (Mondays and Thursdays). Candidates must be based in Barcelona or willing to relocate.

- Supply initiatives with clear go-to-market playbooks, defined success metrics, and post-launch reviews.

- A single, coherent framework for provider policy and development across new services, brands, and markets.

- Improved provider sentiment, satisfaction and trust,



with measurable year-over-year progress.

- Establish provider GTM as a recognized discipline within Rover with crafts, playbooks and benchmarks.

What You’ll Own

-

- Provider GTM strategy: positioning, channels, messaging and measurement across services, brands and countries.

- Provider communications strategy: unified voice, segmentation, cadence, governance and quality bar.

- Provider policy and development execution: extend frameworks to new services, brands and markets.

- Community building: strategy for providers across digital and in-person touchpoints.

- Provider voice and feedback: mechanisms to measure, surface and act on sentiment, feedback and lived experience.

- External commercial solutions: partnerships, integrations and third‑party offerings for providers.

- Go‑to‑market side of the organization’s OKRs and roadmap.

- Team leadership: mentor, manage and grow provider GTM, communications and community leaders and build a broader cross‑functional force.

Minimum Qualifications

-

- 10+ years of experience in product marketing, B2C go-to-market, product management, marketing, general management or consulting in marketplace, platform or two‑sided business contexts.

- 5+ years in people management or leadership roles, including managing managers or leading cross‑functional groups. Experience in product management is preferred.

- Experience partnering with Product, Data Science and Engineering teams to create and execute shared roadmaps and metrics.

- Clear and structured written and verbal communication style; ability to influence and partner with senior leaders and diverse teams.

- Highly proactive,



comfortable operating with minimal guidance in uncertain and ambiguous environments.

- Analytical rigor; enthusiasm for modeling and measuring the impact of initiatives; expertise with advanced analytical and visualization tools such as Mode and Excel.

- Strong leadership skills; experience providing actionable feedback and coaching.

- Comfortable working across Europe (Central Time) and U.S. (Pacific Time) timezones.

- Strong command of English (minimum C2).

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

-

- Experience in online marketplaces with a meaningful supply side (gig economy, services marketplaces, accommodation, mobility or similar).

- Experience with community programs, ambassador networks or advisory councils.

- Track record of building supply or partner sides of a marketplace at scale.

- Experience designing and operating policy, enforcement or trust frameworks for independent providers, contractors or sellers.

- Experience building education, certification or onboarding programs for an external provider community.

- Master’s degree.
