In this role you contribute to the design, analysis and validation of HVDC transmission systems within the HVDC System Performance team. You work across tender, simulation, testing and commissioning activities with international colleagues to advance renewable energy integration. You will develop control models and perform system studies to deliver robust engineering solutions. This position offers growth as part of a new Spain-based engineering presence and exposure to global specialists. You help shape high-quality, safe HVDC solutions with real impact on the energy transition.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Perform power system studies and simulations for HVDC design and validation
• Contribute to tender and project execution activities, translating customer needs into engineering solutions
• Develop and optimise control models using industry tools and analyze performance under varying conditions




• Support Factory System Tests in Sweden and participate in commissioning at customer sites
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary and international teams to deliver safe, reliable technical solutions
• Grow technical expertise while building a new engineering team in Spain
Responsabilidades
• Bachelor, Master or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Engineering Physics or related discipline
• Experience in power systems, xqbhyrx electrical engineering or control systems
• Knowledge of simulation tools such as PSCAD, PSSE, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, Matlab, ETAP or similar (advantage)
• Strong analytical, structured problem-solving abilities
• Fluent English; Spanish valued; Swedish advantageous
• Self-driven, curious and collaborative mindset with good communication skills
• Willingness to learn in an international engineering environment
