As an Avionics Architect at Indra Space, you will define and maintain the avionics architecture for space systems, ensuring alignment with mission requirements. You will ensure compliance with ECSS and ESA standards, coordinate external suppliers, and manage interfaces and ICDs. You will guide time distribution architectures and space-qualified bus implementations, delivering high-assurance avionics for flagship space programs. This role offers impact across major European initiatives and a chance to shape next-generation satellite systems.

• Define and maintain avionics architecture aligned with mission requirements
• Ensure ECSS/ESA standards compliance across design and integration
• Coordinate external equipment suppliers, including technical follow-up and interfaces
• Define, review, and control Interface Control Documents (ICDs)




• Design and supervise time distribution architectures within spacecraft systems
• Work with space-qualified communication buses (SpaceWire, CAN, RS422)
• Provide technical leadership in avionics decisions and system trade-offs
• Review and validate technical documentation for consistency and compliance
Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field
• Experience ensuring compliance with xqbhyrx ECSS or ESA standards
• Hands-on experience managing external suppliers and ICDs
• Deep knowledge of time distribution methodologies in space systems
• Expertise with SpaceWire, CAN, RS422, and similar space-qualified buses
• 5-10 years of experience under ECSS standards
• High level of English
