As a Senior Backend Developer on the Engine team, you’ll build and optimize the Recipe runtime and execution pipeline. You’ll work on heterogeneous Go and Ruby applications, plus microservices, to ensure scalable, durable, and secure processing. You’ll improve the Ruby DSL, data storage integrations, and event handling to support real-time orchestration at scale. You’ll partner with peers to review code and propose architectural improvements. This role offers impact in a fast-moving, security-conscious, cloud-native environment.
Compensaciones / Ventajas
• Build/extend/troubleshoot/fix complex Go and Ruby applications, including a Ruby monolith and Go microservices
• Improve execution engine for custom third-party code (Ruby DSL, isolation, performance, new features)
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient Ruby and Go code
• Integrate data storage solutions (Postgres, S3, DynamoDB, Kafka, ClickHouse)




• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Provide code reviews to teammates
• Evaluate and propose improvements to the existing system

• Explore new technologies (Rust and Wasm)
Responsabilidades
• 5+ years of experience building scalable distributed backend applications
• Strong understanding of web app building xqbhyrx blocks (databases, load balancers, message brokers, caching, monitoring)
• Good understanding of network protocols and stacks
• Good understanding of DB technologies (classic databases and NoSQL)
• Multilingual programming experience (Ruby focus; Go and Rust upcoming)
• Excellent debugging, analytical, problem solving, and social skills
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, 7+ years of experience
