As Global Category Manager for Direct Procurement, you drive packaging category strategy across a multinational context, collaborating with Supply Chain, Ru0026amp;D and Plant Management to align on demand, supplier performance, and long-term sourcing. You balance tactical execution with strategic design-to-cost and cost optimization initiatives, ensuring day-to-day supply reliability while shaping future category direction. This role suits a proactive, interculturally fluent professional who thrives in cross-country, cross-functional environments. You will lead supplier management, market research, and risk management to deliver measurable procurement outcomes.
Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Lead Procurement and Supplier Management of the Packaging category within Direct Procurement
• Engage with division stakeholders to define supplier requirements including change requests (CRs)
• Ensure direct material KPIs to measure and optimize procurement performance




• Achieve procurement targets including total sourcing costs for the category
• Define, implement, and execute the category strategy
• Execute strategic sourcing, VAT, design-to-cost, and total cost of ownership (TCO) projects
• Perform supplier management across phase-in, evaluation, classification, development, and phase-out
• Conduct procurement market research and identify supplier innovations
• Manage risk related to materials and suppliers
• Oversee negotiation and contract award processes with stakeholders xqbhyrx
• Ensure SOPs, work instructions, guidelines and legal requirements are followed, with focus on Master Data and documentation
Responsabilidades
• University degree in Business Administration with purchasing/procurement releases
• Experience in a similar position
