In this role you drive indirect procurement for Spain from Valencia, ensuring on-time, cost-conscious supply to three plants while aligning with regional sourcing goals. You’ll validate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage budgets, reporting and supplier data in SAP. You’ll foster regional synergies, simplify processes, and provide market intelligence to improve competitiveness. This position offers hands-on impact in a hands-on, office-based environment within a focused Sourcing organization.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Ensure on-time in-full supply of indirect commodities within cost targets
• Validate new suppliers and negotiate contracts
• Manage regional indirect sourcing budget and reporting
• Maintain regional network of plant buyers and promote synergies
• Support purchasing for three Spanish plants via procurement IT systems (approval of POs, supplier database,
pricing control in SAP)
• Be the go-to expert on market intelligence (supplier capabilities, competition, technologies)
• Simplify, improve, and modernize existing processes
Responsabilidades
• Supply Chain, Commercial, Purchasing or Industrial Engineering background (preferable)
• At least 2 years’ experience in a commercial engineering environment
• Experience in indirect procurement for manufacturing (ideally packaging or xqbhyrx FMCG)
• Strong ethical standards, interpersonal, influencing, negotiating and communication skills
• Collaborative with internal/external partners; excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Team player who can also work autonomously; proactive and analytical mindset
• Fluency in Spanish and English
• IT literate with ERP experience (SAP) and willingness to travel occasionally within Spain or EU
