As an Architect at AECOM Buildings + Places in Madrid, you shape cities and communities through sustainable, technology-enabled design. You’ll lead projects from concept to construction, coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, high-quality solutions. The role blends creativity with technical rigor across Spain and international projects, contributing to a portfolio that prioritizes sustainability and social value. • Lead architectural project development from concept through construction, ensuring coherence, buildability, and cost control
• Develop and oversee design packages, specifications, and construction documentation for clarity and rigor
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, sustainability, and specialist consultants for integrated solutions
• Ensure compliance with building codes and technical standards
• Review project documentation for accuracy and consistency
• Align technical decisions with budget and design value
• Propose innovative, sustainable solutions that add value for clients
• Evaluate and integrate advanced systems and technologies to enhance projects
• Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers for suitable construction systems
• Conduct internal technical reviews and QA across project stages
• Apply sustainable principles throughout the design process
• Engage in design critiques, presentations, and client meetings
Responsabilidades
• Degree in Architecture or Technical Architecture
• 10-15 years of professional experience
• Strong design and graphic xqbhyrx skills
• Proficiency in BIM environments and software (Revit, AutoCAD)
• Experience in developing construction details and technical solutions for complex projects
• Construction phase supervision experience (site visits, issue resolution)
• Experience delivering projects in Spain with knowledge of local regulations (CTE, LOE, EHE)
• English proficiency
