In this role, you will advance patient-centred development across Ru0026amp;D by embedding patient voice, experience data, and health equity into development strategy and execution. You will lead cross-functional collaboration in a global matrix to scale frameworks, SOPs, templates, and training that support compliant, inspection-ready patient-centric delivery. You’ll oversee portfolio planning, milestones, and metrics to demonstrate adoption and value, coordinating with vendors and external partners. This is a mission-driven position at AstraZeneca that shapes how patient perspectives influence decision-making and development design.

• Implement the Patient-Centred Development framework with therapy areas and cross-functional teams
• Support disease-level patient experience summaries including planning, creation, impact measurement, stakeholder engagement, and vendor coordination
• Develop, maintain and promote tools, resources and training for consistent adoption
• Manage PCD activity trackers and align with data systems in partnership with PCD Directors
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams, vendors and external partners to enable patient-centric practices across Ru0026D
• Ensure alignment with regulators, HTA bodies and payers in patient-centered strategies
• Support portfolio planning,



milestone tracking and risk/issue management with reporting to demonstrate value
• Provide governance and templates to scale SOPs and framework adoption across therapy areas
Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in life sciences, health sciences, or a related discipline
• Experience building infrastructure or managing processes, operating models, guidance, templates and training in a integral matrix organisation
• Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders including Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Regulatory, and external partners
• Strong understanding of drug development, clinical trial design and delivery, and the role of patient voice and patient experience data in Ru0026D decision-making
• Strong project management skills xqbhyrx with planning, stakeholder management and delivery on time, quality and cost
• Excellent written and verbal communication, translating complex requirements into practical guidance and executive-ready materials
• High integrity and judgement in compliance, ethics, external engagement and reputational risk
• Interest in AI and its use in Ru0026D
• Experience with SPOL/SharePoint, digital intake tools, dashboards, metrics reporting, process simplification or AI-enabled workflow improvements
• Experience across multiple therapy areas and global/regional/local operating models
• Vendor or partner management including contracting, service-level management and continuous improvement
