As an Enterprise Risk Manager at Monzo Europe, you will embed robust risk governance across the EU, balancing risk discipline with fast-moving innovation. You’ll work with first-line teams and leadership to maintain risk appetite, identify emerging risks, and strengthen risk culture. This role supports the Board and committees, ensuring regulatory compliance and effective governance across the EU entity. You’ll be at the forefront of banking transformation in a customer-obsessed, compliant, and collaborative environment.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Embed Enterprise Risk management across the organisation in partnership with first-line teams
• Coordinate and maintain the Risk Appetite Framework and Statements for the EU
• Lead risk identification and materiality assessments for all material risks
• Execute horizon scanning and impact analyses to pre-emptively mitigate future risks
• Promote risk culture through training and awareness programs
• Maintain EU Risk Taxonomy, risk register, and impact matrices
• Support delivery of risk reports to Board and Executive Committees




• Assist governance committees with coordination, administration and continuous process improvements
• Provide committee secretariat support to ensure regulatory compliance across the EU entity
• Embed Enterprise Frameworks, Policies and Standards throughout Europe
Responsabilidades
• Proven track record in risk management within heavily regulated financial services
• Proficiency in ERM tools and processes (risk frameworks, governance, appetite, reporting)
• Strong knowledge of European regulatory requirements (CBI, EBA, ECB/SSM, Basel)
• Solid understanding of digital banking products, operations xqbhyrx and associated risks
• Excellent analytical, relationship management and communication skills
• Strong verbal and written communication with ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, complex environment
• Passion for fintech and banking transformation in Ireland and the EU
Requisitos principales
• base salary 53,000-65,000

• hybrid working model (Barcelona/Madrid 2-3 days)
