As a Senior Software Engineer for CGI, you will design and support secure, scalable backend services powering customer-facing Payments journeys. You’ll work in a cloud-native, serverless AWS environment to enable data flows from mobile apps and core banking systems. You’ll apply AI-first development, DevOps, and security-by-design practices across front-end, backend, and integration layers. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine architecture, promote reuse, and accelerate product releases in a Payments context.
Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Deliver technical implementation and support for selected Payments journeys, including integrations with card schemes, wallet providers, and core banking systems
• Participate in technical refinement to clarify work and guide architectural decisions before coding
• Apply DevSecOps practices with shift-left security, dependency scanning, and secrets management to meet security/compliance by design
• Own cryptographic and certificate management across services, including RSA, JWE, HMAC, lifecycle management, and secrets rotation




• Collaborate with engineers to promote AI-first workflows in product design and development and improve release lifecycle
• Share knowledge and support the Payments engineering community to tackle common challenges
Responsabilidades
• Around 8 years in software engineering
• Hands-on with AWS Serverless (Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, KMS, Secrets Manager)
• TypeScript and GraphQL experience
• Willingness to engage with React Native code
• AI-first workflow practitioner with DevOps mindset
• Distributed software development, release and support xqbhyrx using serverless tech
• Strong collaboration, code review, and knowledge-sharing skills
• Solid DevSecOps expertise (API security, threat modelling, secrets rotation, least-privilege IAM, VPC controls)
• Understanding of cryptography, JWT/JWE, digital certificates, and PCI-adjacent environments
• Proficiency in CS fundamentals relevant to secure systems and APIs
