Position

Full‑time D&IS; Service Project Portfolio Manager – Madrid

Role Overview

Take on a new challenge and apply your Project Management expertise in a cutting‑edge field. You’ll work alongside young and talented teammates and drive Mainline & Infra Signalling Services project/program execution, maximizing results with respect to cash and margin while delivering on time. You will work closely with teams across the business including Customer / Platform, Partners, Project Team, Line Managers, Project Office, and support functions such as Finance, Tax and Legal.

You will seek and propose additional opportunities to the Customer Director/Project Leader/Platform within the contract Charter, ensuring Alstom Transport legal and contractual rights are protected.

Responsibilities

-

- Plan and manage the complete execution of the scope from transfer to close out, in line with Contract / Program Charter requirements.

- Lead a Project Team, including Core Team and, when applicable, Project Managers of internal and external partners.





- Perform project management and contract administration according to Alstom Project Management Manual (PMM), including proactive risk and opportunity management and full compliance with E&C; rules.

- Ensure completion of Project / Program Performance goals to meet business objectives and customer / Platform satisfaction.

- For Projects: Responsible and accountable for the Project Profit and Loss; For Programs: Respect the budgets and QCD objectives defined during PAB.

- Ensure optimal quality of project/program execution and reviews.

- Identify critical aspects in reviews and proactively address and follow up.

- Manage the project / program situation and its KPIs, reporting to senior management with transparency during business/sector project reviews or PRB.

- Ensure key project stakeholders are aligned toward project/program goals.

- Represent Alstom towards Customers and, when applicable, external stakeholders such as Consortium, JV, etc.

- EHS: Accountable for proper implementation of the Alstom policy and Customer / Platform requirements by all stakeholders.

- Ensure full compliance with the Code of Ethics.

- Measure and report performance metrics such as Sales, Physical progress, Gate review Go on time / OTD‑GR,



GM adjusted and GM, Cash‑in, Customer Satisfaction and EHS when applicable.

Qualifications

-

- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field.

- High level in English is a must; French is an asset.

- Fluent Spanish is required.

- 8 to 10 years of relevant Project Management experience, preferably in railways with knowledge of railway products and systems.

- Good knowledge of project management processes appropriate to project/program complexity.

- Experience managing a wide range of subcontractor companies across various product typologies.

- Experience working with multinational companies and in different business cultures.

- Used to working in a goal‑driven environment.
