As Structural Design Engineer in the Aerostructures Design area, you will design and validate composite and hybrid airframe structures for major programs, optimizing for weight, cost, and safety. You will develop structural architectures and documentation for manufacturing and certification, working with cross-functional teams to address production and in-service issues. Your role drives digital product innovation and concurrent engineering in a fast-paced, AGILE environment. This is an opportunity to shape high-performance airframes on strategic programmes at Airbus.
Compensaciones / Ventajas
• Design and validate composite and hybrid airframe structures with emphasis on weight, cost, performance, and safety
• Develop structural architectures and complete mechanical assembly documentation for manufacturing
• Collaborate in concurrent engineering with Manufacturing, Stress, Materials,



and Services teams to troubleshoot issues
• Interface with external partners and stakeholders in technical design reviews and project follow-ups
• Prepare documentation and structural definitions to support civil and military aircraft certification
Responsabilidades
• 7+ years of professional experience in aircraft structural design
• Deep understanding of composite structures
• Proficiency in CATIA, PDM/PLM tools, and configuration management methods xqbhyrx
• Proactive problem solver with strong communication and adaptability
• English and Spanish at negotiation level
• Education in Aeronautical/Industrial (Mechanics) Engineering or related discipline
