In this role you lead the Cloud Infrastructure Security function at N26, shaping the security roadmap in collaboration with product and engineering leadership. You design and deploy cloud-native security controls across AWS, CI/CD, and container environments to raise security maturity and protect customer data. You will perform threat modeling, monitor vulnerabilities, and drive incident response initiatives with cross-functional teams. This is an opportunity to build scalable security solutions and influence secure cloud operations in a fast-growing fintech.

• Drive the Cloud Infrastructure Security function roadmap with Product Manager, Tech Lead and Engineering Manager
• Define and execute initiatives to proactively mitigate security threats in AWS infrastructure and improve security maturity
• Design, deploy and maintain cloud-native security solutions with data protection, threat detection, automation, and remediation
• Conduct threat modeling sessions and align mitigations with stakeholders
• Monitor vulnerabilities, perform risk assessments, and collaborate with teams to mitigate risk
• Define pentesting scope and scenarios
• Develop and maintain clear security documentation and guidance




• Provide first-class service to stakeholders via the support portal
• Participate in on-call security incident response (voluntary) and lead incidents
Responsabilidades
• AWS cloud infrastructure security experience
• CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, and Linux systems
• Experience with risk assessment and mitigation strategies
• Knowledge of STRIDE, MITRE ATTu0026CK, OWASP
• Cloud data security practices across cloud environments
• Experience deploying and customizing security tools (CSPM/CNAPP, vulnerability scanners, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, KSPM, container runtime security)
• Automation proficiency with xqbhyrx CI/CD and Terraform
• Hands-on cloud deployment skills (VMs, containers, Kubernetes, serverless, IaC)
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or Go
• Experience with ethical hacking and penetration testing
• Agile mindset and collaboration across teams
• Strong communication skills and growth mindset
• Educational background as Master’s in cybersecurity or Bachelor in CS with advanced security certification
