As a Senior Snowflake Engineer, you will drive the Teradata-to-Snowflake migration for a leading Scandinavian bank, shaping the data platform and modernisation efforts. You collaborate with a cross-functional delivery team to design scalable data models, pipelines, and governance across the project. You will optimize performance, ensure data quality and security, and implement Snowflake features at scale. This role offers high-impact work, constant learning, and client-facing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Lead the Teradata to Snowflake migration lifecycle including assessment, planning, execution and cutover readiness
• Design Snowflake data models and pipelines; architect ETL/ELT processes using IDMC (preferred)
• Optimize warehouse sizing, clustering/partitioning and query tuning for cost and performance
• Implement Snowflake features (Snowpipe, Streams/Tasks, Time Travel)



and manage secure access (RBAC, encryption, storage integrations, external stages)
• Rewrite and optimize Teradata SQL to Snowflake equivalents
• Automate tasks using Python and/or Shell scripting
• Perform source-to-target data reconciliation and validate transformations
• Document data flows, designs, and progress for stakeholders
Responsabilidades
• Strong Snowflake architecture and SQL performance tuning
• Teradata SQL knowledge with migration/conversion xqbhyrx experience
• Background in data warehousing and ETL/ELT design; IDMC experience preferred
• Deep knowledge of Snowflake features (Snowpipe, Streams/Tasks, Time Travel/Cloning, micro-partitions, stages, file formats, RBAC)
• Cloud platform experience (Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Scripting in Python and/or Shell for automation
• CI/CD and DevOps practices applied to data pipelines
