In this role you will lead cost management across construction projects, acting as the main client interface to drive value and accuracy. You will coordinate estimates, cost planning, procurement, and post-contract activities to deliver on time and quality targets. You will collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to manage risks, changes, and governance. This is a site-based position that offers leadership opportunities and exposure to high-profile projects. You will contribute to Turner u0026amp; Townsend’s mission of delivering transformative outcomes through rigorous cost control and effective stakeholder engagement.
Compensaciones / Ventajas
• Provide estimate and cost planning, including final cost plan presentation
• Serve as client point of contact to resolve delivery and commercial issues with reports on time, cost, and quality
• Estimate costs at conceptual, programming, and detailed levels
• Manage pre/post-contract duties: cost estimates, procurement, tendering, contract admin, variations, final accounts
• Assist feasibility studies and procurement reporting
• Oversee procurement activities: pre-qualification, bid analysis, bid reports, and contract documentation
• Participate in post-contract cost variances and change control,
escalating major changes
• Manage cost checks and valuations on larger projects with timely, accurate processes
• Produce monthly post-contract cost reports for client presentation
• Maintain liaison with client and project stakeholders; foster strong relationships
• Provide leadership to the cost management team as needed
• Identify opportunities to develop new business with existing clients and report to line manager
• Suggest improvements to cost management procedures, templates, and products
Responsabilidades
• Proven track record in cost management / quantity surveying across full construction lifecycle
• Experience in MEP construction, xqbhyrx industrial or pharma sector
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or relevant degree
• +5 years of experience leading cost management on medium/large, high- complexity projects
• Experience advising on value management, value engineering, and lifecycle costing
• Strong knowledge of procurement routes, value management and value engineering
• Excellent presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills in Spanish and English
• Excellent organizational skills; multi-tasking and team-oriented
