In this role you lead one or more engineering squads within Embat, shaping high-quality software delivery and team growth. You mentor engineers, drive delivery ownership, and establish engineering excellence while collaborating with product, design, and other functions. You’ll influence architecture and scalability on a modern stack (React, Node.js, GCP) to support Embat’s ambitious roadmap. This is a hands-on leadership role in a flat, fast-moving environment where your impact matters.

Responsabilidades
• 2+ years as Engineering Manager or Team Lead with 5+ years hands-on engineering experience (ideally JavaScript/NodeJS/React)
• Proven experience leading teams and delivering complex software in agile environments
• Strong mentoring and coaching skills across career stages
• Solid technical foundation for architecture decisions, performance, and scalability
• Ability to drive results through xqbhyrx others while fostering a collaborative, psychologically safe culture
• Continuous improvement mindset focused on engineering excellence and process optimization
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Fluency in English and Spanish
• Based in Spain (ideally Madrid) or willing to relocate
