As a Senior Security Engineer for Datadog's Cloud SIEM, you will shape scalable threat detection, investigation, and response capabilities across cloud-native and enterprise environments. You’ll work with product, engineering, and security research teams to enhance AI-assisted workflows and agentic SOC capabilities, covering cloud platforms, SaaS, identities, endpoints, and networks. The role emphasizes research-driven content, automation, and measurable improvements in security outcomes. You’ll have the chance to contribute to open-source initiatives and publish security research while aligning with Datadog’s collaborative culture.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Research attacker techniques and emerging threats to build scalable security capabilities
• Design and improve AI-powered investigation, threat hunting, and response workflows
• Own threat detections and automated security workflows from research to deployment and improvement




• Develop high-fidelity detection content across cloud platforms, SaaS, identity systems, endpoints, and networks
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Security Research, and customers to influence roadmap decisions
• Mentor security engineers and drive automation, tooling, and data-driven optimization
Responsabilidades
• Experience in detection engineering, incident response, threat hunting, or related security disciplines
• Knowledge of securing and operating AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, xqbhyrx Docker, Terraform)
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar languages for automation and tooling
• Ability to drive initiatives through ambiguity and collaborate across multiple teams
• Passion for applying AI and automation to security operations
