In this role you will design and deliver automated tax logic for Brazil and LATAM using SAP and external tax engines, ensuring tax compliance across regions. You will bridge finance goals with regional tax requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement tax mandates. You’ll shape how tax processes scale while adapting standardized templates to local needs, helping Roche maintain compliant, efficient tax operations. Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Design and implement automated tax logic for Brazil and LATAM (SAP Condition Technique or ONESOURCE Tax Engine)
• Integrate tax requirements across SD, MM and FI for consistent tax treatment
• Lead Brazil Tax Reform transitions to the new IBS/CBS VAT-style system
• Manage technical setup for Brazilian statutory reporting (EFD-Reinf, ECD, ECF) and ensure LATAM compliance
• Oversee electronic interfaces with government authorities (NF-e, CNAB, bank protocols)




• Translate complex tax laws into clear functional specifications for IT and business
• Lead end-to-end testing (Unit, SIT, UAT) for tax changes
• Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, and Tax to align systems with regulatory changes
• Resolve high-priority production issues related to tax calculations and e-invoice submissions
Responsabilidades
• 8+ years in finance implementation, with at least 5 years in Brazil Localization
• Proven SAP S/4HANA implementation experience with cross-module xqbhyrx SD/MM/FI
• Bachelor or Master in Business Administration, Computer Science or equivalent
• Advanced experience with SAP Tax Determination and external tax engines (e.g., Thomson Reuters OneSource)
• Hands-on TaxOne implementation and reporting experience (highly preferred)
• Expert knowledge of Brazil tax systems and LATAM tax complexities (Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a must
