As Electrical Design Engineer in our Madrid office, you will lead small projects delivering electrical design and coordination for building services. You’ll translate client needs into robust specifications and drawings while ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will engage with clients, professional teams, and contractors to drive project delivery within RED’s QA-driven process. This is a hands-on role with impact on low-energy, sustainable building environments.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Run small projects from design through coordination and monitoring of electrical installations
• Develop and specify control systems, instruments and operating schemes for building services
• Survey, test and report on existing electrical installations
• Produce specification modifications and ensure compliance with functional and customer requirements
• Represent the company at technical meetings with customers and project teams
• Prepare specifications in Word/Excel and validate engineering inputs
• Ensure calculations and drawings meet robust industry and legal standards
• Support Intermediate u0026 Graduate Engineer input into designs and project delivery process
Responsabilidades
• Grado or Master en Ingeniería or demonstrable equivalent experience
• Registered with a recognised Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros
• Working towards Chartered Eng status or equivalent
• Experience with design/drawing for at least one building xqbhyrx type
• Knowledge of Health and Safety issues and legislation
• Proficiency in MS Office (including Excel) and IT-based calculation tools
• Good understanding of BS standards
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
• Consulting or construction experience preferred
