In this role you will lead mechanical design for AWS data center projects across the EMEA region, driving resilient, cost-efficient systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external consultants to deliver designs from concept to construction documentation. You will evaluate critical equipment needs, ensure constructability, and coordinate with AHJs, utilities, and commissioning teams. The role combines hands-on engineering leadership with the opportunity to influence multi-million dollar builds at cloud scale. This is a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment that values creativity and continuous learning.
Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Lead design activities for data center projects and manage design consultants
• Assess how design decisions affect site layouts and campus-level planning
• Define project scopes, RFPs and RFIs, and approve equipment submittals
• Coordinate with local utilities, AHJs,



and commissioning teams
• Review and approve equipment submittals; perform RCA/CA for design issues
• Support multiple regional projects and travel for site reviews and launches
• Define and manage change, versioning and configuration control
• Provide technical support during construction and turnover
Responsabilidades
• Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment
• Experience in data center design, construction, xqbhyrx operations, or facility maintenance
• Experience in industrial or commercial engineering for mission-critical facilities
• Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods for data center equipment
• Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering
