CINTECX - Research Center for Technologies, Energy and Industrial Processes
Organisation / Company Universidade de Vigo Department CINTECX - Research Center for Technologies, Energy and Industrial Processes Is the Hosting related to staff position within a Research Infrastructure? No
This research line focuses on the design, synthesis and optimization of advanced functional materials—including biochar, hydrochar, MOFs, COFs and perovskites—for applications in electrochemical water splitting and Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOPs). It aims to overcome current limitations in catalytic systems (efficiency, cost and stability) through the integration of waste-derived precursors and innovative material engineering strategies, contributing to sustainable catalysis and circular economy approaches.
Research Area: ENV – Environmental Sciences
Prof. Mª Ángeles Sanromán Braga (Main Supervisor)
