Education & Qualifications

-

- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Engineering, IT or a related discipline.

- Preferred: Experience or certifications aligned with a CISO profile (CISSP, CISA, CISM).

- Proficiency in Spanish and English (both written and spoken) is essential.

Technical Experience

-

- Proven ability to develop and deploy Crisis Management Plans in international organizations.

- In-depth understanding of Security Management principles and BCP (Business Continuity Planning) standards.

- A strong grasp of local, national, and international security regulations, including

-

- ISO 27001 implementation.

- ENS (Esquema Nacional de Seguridad) frameworks.

- Experience conducting audits to ensure adherence to security policies and standards.

- Solid knowledge of IT Security concepts, including

-

- Cybersecurity principles (firewalls, encryption, intrusion prevention).

- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPNs, DNS, etc.).

- Threat analysis and remediation processes.





- Familiarity with physical security measures and integration with IT security.

- Strong knowledge of cloud security frameworks.

- Understanding of DevSecOps principles and their application to secure software development.

- Experience in developing and maintaining security awareness programs for employees.

- Incident Management Software

- Data Loss Prevention Tools

- Vulnerability Management Systems

- Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)

- Identity and Access Management (IAM)

- Encryption and PKI solutions

- Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (e.G., Python, PowerShell) to streamline security processes.

- Experience leading cross‑functional teams, including IT, security and operations.

- Proven ability to manage, coach and mentor team members to achieve their potential.

- Management skills delivering security initiatives on time and within budget.

- Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and build consensus for security strategies.

- Track record of handling high‑pressure situations with composure and effective decision‑making.





- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical details into business language.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in security management, IT security or a related field.

- Experience working in an international and multicultural environment is a plus.
