About the role

We are looking for a Microbiology Laboratory Specialist, detail-oriented and proactive, to join our Quality team. In this position, you will be responsible for performing microbiological analyses and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards. You will play a key role in maintaining product safety and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Your responsibilities

- Perform microbiological analyses of raw materials, intermediate products, packaging, water, and finished products.

- Interpret results according to specifications and report any deviations (OOS – Out of Specification, OOT – Out of Trend).

- Collaborate in trend analysis, corrective actions, and validation of microbiological methods.

- Participate in GMP/GHP audits and provide training sessions on microbiology and hygiene in production.

- Operate laboratory equipment, manage material and service orders, and ensure the quality of media and strain banks.

- Verify the quality of raw material deliveries and communicate with suppliers in case of non-conformities.





- Create and maintain laboratory documentation according to GLP guidelines and corporate standards.

The experience we're looking for

-

- University degree or FP in biology, biotechnology, or a related field

- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a microbiological laboratory

- Intermediate proficiency in English

- Good command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

- Familiarity with statistics and the ability to interpret research results is an advantage

- Ability to work according to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) principles

- Accuracy, responsibility, and strong teamwork skills

- Availability to work in shifts (06:00h - 14:00h and 14:00h - 22:00h)
