The Application Integration Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and operational excellence of Julius Baer’s general messaging and integration infrastructure. Combining the roles of Integration Specialist and IBM MQ Administrator, the position ensures the reliable, secure, and high-performance exchange of critical financial data across distributed systems. Using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), IBM MQ, and IBM MQ MFT, the engineer delivers end-to-end integration solutions—from development and deployment to production support, while upholding stringent requirements for availability, resilience, security, and regulatory compliance within a global financial services environment.
YOUR CHALLENGE
Design, develop,



and deploy secure, scalable integration solutions using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), including message routing, transformation (ESQL/XML/JSON), and orchestration of service interactions.
Install, administer, and optimise IBM MQ queue managers and infrastructure across distributed environments, supporting hub-and-spoke topologies, and cluster architectures.
Ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of messaging systems through proactive monitoring, capacity planning, failover configurations, and disaster recovery testing.
Secure integrations via TLS/SSL, token and certificate management, channel authentication, and access controls in compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.
