Role Description The Kitchen Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Madrid. This role supports the kitchen team by preparing ingredients, assisting with basic cooking tasks, and organizing workstations to ensure efficient service. Daily responsibilities include maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, washing and storing kitchen equipment, and helping with stock rotation and inventory organization. The Kitchen Assistant may also assist with plating dishes, coordinating with front‑of‑house staff, and following food safety procedures.



This position requires working closely with chefs and other team members to provide consistent quality and timely service to guests.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Food Preparation and basic Cooking techniques, with an interest in learning more.
- Knowledge of Hygiene and food safety practices, including proper cleaning and sanitation standards.
- Understanding of Food & Beverage operations within a restaurant environment.
- Customer Service awareness, with the ability to support positive guest experiences through efficient kitchen work.
- Ability to work on‑site in Madrid, follow instructions, and collaborate with a diverse kitchen team.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and handle a fast‑paced environment.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of Spanish or willingness to learn to support effective communication with the team.
