- The Director of Engineering for Platform will own the complex, highly-distributed systems required to deliver this vision at massive scale
- Strategic & Technical Leadership: Define the long-term technical roadmap, architecture, and standards for the Platform team, ensuring unparalleled scale, security, and resiliency
- Hands-On Ownership & Technical Activity: Maintain a high level of technical engagement and remain actively hands-on, contributing to critical design reviews, setting coding standards, and demonstrating a genuine passion for writing and shipping code
- System Scaling & Delivery: Oversee the design and implementation of highly complex distributed systems capable of handling massive transactional volume and user growth, demonstrating a great track record of delivering software at high velocity
- Team Management & Growth: Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing engineering organization
