One of our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Teamlead to join their Accounts Payable Services team. Operating as a critical financial engine for the business, this organization combines robust internal controls with continuous process optimization to deliver seamless operational support across multiple countries.

Main responsibilities :

- Oversee and coordinate daily Accounts Payable and intercompany accounting operations, ensuring timely execution and full compliance with internal controls
- Lead, coach, and empower a high-performing operational team, managing resource allocation, workload distribution, and team development
- Supervise payment proposals across supplier categories, monitor and analyze vendor balances, and manage required documentation for vendor master data maintenance
- Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities related to intercompany processes in alignment with corporate timelines
- Drive operational excellence by monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing team output, and establishing a structured reporting cadence
- Serve as the main escalation point for complex intercompany incidents, proactively resolving bottlenecks and capacity constraints
- Partner closely with key stakeholders, including APS Management, Country Finance teams, business units, and Shared Services leadership
- Support process implementations, migrations,



and automation initiatives to drive continuous improvement and standardization

Core skills/experience :

- Solid, hands-on experience in Accounts Payable and Intercompany accounting within a structured corporate finance environment
- Proven leadership background: Experience managing, coaching, and developing team members while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration
- Technical proficiency: Strong command of SAP and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Financial & operational acumen: Deep understanding of financial principles, month-end closing, internal controls, and KPI tracking
- Continuous improvement mindset: Ability to identify operational friction, support process transitions, and drive standardization
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with the adaptability to partner across international finance teams
- Nice to Have : Experience in Shared Service Center (SSC/GBS) operations, exposure to tax/VAT fundamentals, and familiarity with Power BI, Power Query, or ticketing systems
