Embedded Software Engineer (C) – Safety-Critical Real-Time Systems

About the Role:

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer with strong expertise in C programming for the analysis, design and development of real-time safety-critical embedded software .

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge international aerospace and defence programmes from Spain, working alongside highly experienced engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyse, design, develop and maintain embedded software in C for safety-critical systems.
- Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to integration and verification.
- Develop software in Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) environments.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace software development standards and quality processes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams in an international environment.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Telecommunications,



Aerospace Engineering, Electronics or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in embedded software development.
- Strong experience programming in C .

Technical Requirements:

- Proven experience developing embedded software for real-time critical systems is mandatory.
- Experience working under DO-178C and/or DO-278A standards. is desirable
- Previous experience in the Aerospace, Aviation or Defence industries, is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) .
- Experience with RTOS such as PikeOS or similar is highly valued.
- Additional knowledge of Ada and/or C++ is considered a plus.
