A non-profit organization is currently looking for a Cook for a holiday camp (Casa de Colònies) situated in the scenic area of Binicanella, near Bunyola. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, preparing wholesome meals, and maintaining high hygiene and safety standards. Your primary duties and responsibilities will involve:

- Preparing and cooking nutritious menus tailored for groups of 60 to 70 diners.
- Ensuring strict adherence to set meal schedules and service times.
- Managing daily food safety and hygiene logs, including temperature controls, product traceability, and strict allergen management.
- Organizing and coordinating the tasks of kitchen assistants and cleaning staff to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Thoroughly cleaning the kitchen workspace and ensuring complete compliance with health regulations.
- Maintaining a safe, hygienic, and well-structured kitchen environment at all times.

To qualify for this position, you should fulfill the following key requirements:

- Minimum of 12 months of relevant cooking experience, with proven experience catering to volume (60-70 diners).
- Formal HACCP (APPCC) qualification or solid, demonstrable knowledge regarding food contamination prevention and allergen safety.
- Basic education certificate (ESO / Graduat escolar) and Spanish language proficiency at a B2 level.




- Valid driving license (Category B); possessing your own vehicle is strongly recommended due to the location's accessibility.
- A mandatory negative certificate of sexual offenses (Certificado negativo de delitos sexuales).

What the employment conditions offer you:

- A full-time, discontinuous fixed contract (fijo discontinuo) lasting for 2 months.
- Gross salary of 17,094 € per year.
- Work schedule spanning Monday to Sunday with two guaranteed days off each week.
- Adaptable shift arrangements based on camp occupancy, featuring continuous morning shifts (approx. 7:30 to 15:00) or continuous afternoon shifts (approx. 15:00 to 22:30), as well as split shifts when required.
