At MEOGROUP , a consultancy specialized in Procurement and Supply Chain , we are looking for a Consultant to perform as a Sr. CAPEX Buyer helping a leading international industrial group manage their capital expenditure portfolio. Operating over 130 production plants worldwide—including 12 key industrial facilities across the Iberian Peninsula—the organization focuses on transforming organic by-products into high-value sustainable goods, maintaining a strong commitment to environmental stewardship and operational excellence.

What responsibilities will you have?

The role focuses on managing end-to-end Sourcing-to-Contract (S2C) processes for CAPEX investments across 12 industrial plants in Iberia. You will be fully responsible for managing projects from initial internal stakeholder requirement up to contract execution and post-signature monitoring. You will be responsible for:

- End-to-End CAPEX Procurement: Managing the complete lifecycle of capital expenditure projects (industrial machinery, equipment, civil works, and facility upgrades) from reception of internal client requirements to contract signing and subsequent follow-up.
- Sourcing & RFx Execution: Structuring, launching, and managing complex sourcing events (RFI/RFQ/RFP) for major capital investments across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Technical & Commercial Evaluation:



Conducting technical comparatives, commercial assessments, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analyses to support decision-making.
- Contract Negotiation & Execution: Leading negotiations on commercial terms, warranties, delivery timelines, SLAs, and liability clauses with equipment vendors and engineering suppliers.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Partnering closely with plant managers, engineering leads, and central management across all 12 facilities to challenge requirements and ensure alignment with budget and operational targets.
- Vendor & Contract Performance Tracking: Monitoring post-signature contract execution, budget compliance, delivery milestones, and supplier performance.

What we value?

- Experience: 5–8 years of proven experience in Procurement, specifically as a CAPEX buyer handling industrial machinery, equipment, and civil works.
- Specialization: Deep expertise in CAPEX sourcing strategies, contract management, and industrial procurement environments.
- Languages: Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory.
- Technical Skills: Advanced command of Excel for data analysis and experience managing complex RFP processes in multinational environments.
- Soft Skills: We seek a humble , empathetic, and highly diplomatic professional. You must be able to navigate complex organizational structures and build strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Adaptability: A "plug & play" mindset with the ability to manage high workloads, work autonomously, and transition quickly into existing projects.
